Why is it you always seem to meet someone who is worth going after and meets what you are looking for in a person, but lives half way around the world. Isn't that the way it always is, life sucks.

The answer to this one is simple....... don't look at anyone from out of town. People seems to be more appealing when they live farther away. You don't spend as much time with them, so they don't get on your nerves as quickly. :)

We are only ever 24 hours away (by plane) from each other.
If it's worth persuing - do it. My other half lives in North Carolina, I'm moving there next year. Sure the long distance sucks, but it's worth it in the long run!

Well lostsoul, I can not honestly say that I have had a long distance relationship, not that I wouldn't try one if the right man were to come along, but, I have always been told that distance is not a factor if there is really an attraction. I realize that it means for long intervals of meeting, but then when the meeting does occur it makes it that much sweeter. Don't get discouraged or lose your faith. If you want to be together bad enough it will happen. Remember- "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." my friend.

I had the same thing happen to me, but we worked it out and scheduled our lives so we could see each other. I know I'm only young, but I was always told don't give up at the first hurdle or else you'll never get anywhere in life :-) And that person is always flippin' right lol. And, for me, the saying applys to pretty much everything.

The trick is not to look at anyone that doesn't live near you. That being said, I've had the same problem. Maybe it makes them interesting being more unattainable. More of a challenge. And I do like a challenge!
